You don't have to spend much money to have a warm, welcoming home. It's the small things that usually add that specific pop to a room. It could be a pretty colored candle, a unique basket, or even a few bright, vivid throw pillows that immediately catch your attention.

Simple things you can do if you are looking to refresh the look of your home
The first thing to do is a declutter session. Are there things sitting around your home that don't contribute to the look you want for your home? Things that don't belong in that room. Maybe you have things that are just plain worn out. Get rid of those things. It already looks better, right?
How about rearranging your furniture? I love to experiment with different ways of arranging furniture. It is so amazing how just moving a couple of things around can change the whole look of a room. So move some furniture and see how it looks.

Change the color of a wall or even a whole room. How about creating an accent wall? Maybe make a gallery wall with some favorite family or vacation photos. Use nice frames and an assortment of sizes.

Faux plants placed on a pretty tray on a coffee table can be a minimal cost. But will add a nice touch to your living room.

Add a nice rug in front of your couch or a lovely runner in your hallway or kitchen
Do an eclectic design. Mix things up—different woods, different fabrics, and colors.
